I've eaten here 3 times now and enjoyed each meal. The prices are definitely high, don't expect a cheap dinner here. Recently had a nice family meal starting with a dozen raw oysters. I had the 9 oz filet and steak fries. The filet was good but the fries were a bad choice, should've gotten the baked potato as the fries were overcooked and not to my taste. Had the crème brulee for dessert, very delish. Service was prompt. The bar offers many types of wine and beer, didn't look at the liquors.

One of our favorite restaurant in St. Charles. The servers are great, especially Allison, the food is very good and they have excellent cocktails.

I've been here a handful of times. Each time, there was a different fatal flaw. The first time, the salmon my wife ordered was way undercooked.....and that was after waiting 1.5 hours from our arrival to actually receive our meal. They did apologize and the meal ended up being free, so we gave them another shot. When I returned for the second chance, I waited at a table for 20 minutes for a server. Honestly, the food isn't great either. I've had much better prime rib or scallops elsewhere. Don't let the ambiance fool you. This place is in a casino, run by casino workers. It's not fine dining by any stretch.

What a great experience! The food was awesome. The grilled oysters were phenomenal. My husband brought me here for our anniversary. The service was exceptional! They even had a special dessert for us at the end of our meal.

I am very impressed with Bugatti's. Maybe I haven't eaten enough casino food, but I've found that in St. Louis, casino food is really not great. Everyone says it's great, but as a foodie, I can tell you that it's not. However, Bugatti's is comparable to any other non-casino, quality restaurant. Every time I've been here, the service has been fantastic. So friendly, quick and accommodating. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with lots of dark wood, comfy booths and big amber lamps. My husband and I agree that every menu item we've ever had here has been delicious. This includes steak, pasta, shrimp scampi, salmon and veal marsala. Their salads, sides and desserts are good as well. I have always enjoyed dinner at Bugatti's and would recommend it to anyone wanting to escape the substandard casino buffet!

The Chef's table (in the kitchen) is one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal. Get the shrimp appetizer (massive) and a Filet with mashed potatoes. Absolutely outstanding.

I find the two 1 star reviews extremely surprising. I would say I have been here at least 20 times and have never once gotten a sub par steak! It is always excellent in flavor and cooked perfectly! We frequent other steak places such as Ruth's Chris, Kreis, and others and this is my favorite not only because of the steak but the bread, salad, sides and always, always superb service

I was excited when my friends had decided to try the steak house at the Ameristar Casino. I was expecting a top quality steak, especially based on the prices of steaks between $30 and $40 a piece. Unfortunately, the very sight of the steak when we received it, I knew I had been duped. The steak was $39 and was very low quality beef. Cooked sub par, might have been an inch thick, at best. Very fatty and grisly. The sides we ordered were the marscapone mashed potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes were very thin and flavorless and the asparagus, was fine. We had ordered the toasted ravioli appetizer. The presentation was nice, but the minute i bit into it, the meat inside resembled the inside of a Jack in the Box Taco. It was not a good appetizer. The only good thing about the meal was the bread they bring out with the trio of toppings of roasted tomato olive tapenade, roasted garlic and herb butter. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant and will never go back. $75 and I would have been happier going to Cracker Barrel. Prime steak house prices with Pondegrosa quality. Disgusting!

I was really disappointed at the $40 porterhouse 'steak', which was undercooked & featured a long white tendon through the middle. Here's a tip, if you intend to charge Stoney River / Ruth's Chris prices, match the quality. Don't serve a Ponderosa / Red Lobster quality steak at a premium price. Will never return, even if it were a free meal. I'd rather roll the dice at Golden Corral where I know I'm eating out of a trash can.

If you aren't a casino member that spends a lot of money gambling then Bugatti's isn't for you. You aren't going to be treated the same. We aren't really big gamblers, but we do go to the casinos from time to time. We had never visited this place before, but thought it would be nice for Valentines day. The food was no where near the quality for the price they charged. We eat out at a lot of the mid range to nicer restaurants around town and I was really dissappointed in Bugatti's. There was a manager of the restaurant who went around and thanked the guests for coming in and chatted them up like they were best friends, but that was only if they were a casino member most likely dining there for free. I would expect that any restaurant would be kind and polite to all guests, especially the new ones that you want to come back again. We probably won't go back.

Absolutely not worth the ridiculous amount of money that this food costs. My table had 4 entrees, 3 of them steaks. Every single steak was charred and cooked unevenly (I had a 7oz filet that was medium on one side, medium rare on the other - it's tiny so that seemed almost impossible to me). My 2 friends joining my husband and I complained that their au gratin potatoes had no flavor (I concur) and that the prime rib was absolutely overcooked all the way through (over $30 for this steak). I also attempted to order soup, but it was forgotten. I sat for 45 minutes (seriously, there were hardly any other customers so I don't understand this wait) with no food and an empty drink (finished the soda in a few minutes, wasn't refilled until food arrived). I mentioned that my soup never arrived, and was offered absolutely nothing for compensation, not even the soup itself. For a restaurant that is supposed to be fine dining, I was absolutely astounded. Any other fine dining establishment would have been horribly embarrassed if they forgot something, apparently not this place. I would certainly say save your money for Cardwell's on the Plaza, Fleming's, Morton's or Annie Gunn's. This was by far the most horrid "fine" dining experience I've ever had. I knew I should have gone to the Oyster Bar instead.

Never heard of this place... saw it while walking around Ameristar.. so gave it a try. We ordered crab cakes as our appetizer.. it was delicious. Small and tasty. My wife ordered the veal which she really enjoyed. And i got the 16oz prime rib (st. Charles cut) which was really really good! Overall the place was nice but be prepared to pay.

Everything was very nice until the main course. My carbonara was gemelli in Alfredo sauce. I could tell it was intentional and not a mistake because there was bacon and peas in it like a proper carbonara. That's the cook insulting my intelligence. Two stars for the nice appetizer, bread and salad before that happened.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
